Yesterday we visited penguin island by walking over the sand bar, this can be extremely dangerous so if you do attempt it please make sure the conditions are perfect, you’re a confident swimmer and it’s low tide.
You’ll find a sign located at the beginning of the bar so make sure it is switched to “open” or you could get yourself a hefty fine.
Anyways back to the snorkelling!
This was my very first time and wow! Absolutely obsessed! Our kiddies also had a shot and loved it! I’ll make a separate post about them and their masks because they were amazing and had our three year old and seven year old snorkelling without a single problem.
The swell was not the best but that didn’t stop us from exploring, we’ve got a lot to learn and we’re super excited to be stepping into this new world.
