šŸ“The Pinnacles

The pinnacles in Western Australia are a natural wonder that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. These towering limestone formations rise out of the desert landscape like nothing I've seen before.

Some were tall and spiky, while others were short and round, each one unique in its own way, The coloursĀ and textures of the stone varied from red to yellow to white.

The pinnacles are believed to have formed over millions of years, as the ocean receded and the limestone was exposed to the elements. The patterns and shapes were created by the wind and sand, carving out the stone into intricate designs. Visitors can explore the pinnacles by foot or by car, taking in the breathtaking views and admiring the natural beauty of the area. There are also guided tours available for those who want to learn more about the history and geology of the region.

One of the best times to visit the pinnacles is during sunset, when the light casts a warm and golden glow over the landscape, just remember if you visit during the warmer months you won't be able to fully explore on foot as it does get extremely hot! We made this mistake and even our mobile phones were overheating.

It's a truly magical experience, and one that I will never forget. If you're planning a trip to Western Australia, be sure to add the pinnacles to your itinerary. They are a must-see destination that will take your breath away and leave you in awe.
