well there’s actually an awesome story that goes along with it, back in 1990 a local young lad named Dion caught a great white pointer shark by rod and reel with only a 24kg line. The massive shark weighed in at 1520kg and was more than 5m long! It is believed to be the biggest shark in the world caught on a 24kg line.
How’s that for a catch!
